Development of technical and scientific documentation necessary for authorization/compliance in the field of environmental protection and biodiversity, CAEN 7219; CAEN7490
Summary:
The ICB-CJ offer aims to identify ways of collaborating with economic agents and/or institutions that need technical and scientific documentation for authorization and/or compliance from the point of view of environmental protection and biodiversity according to the relevant legislation in force. ICB-CJ is registered in the national register of environmental study developers at position 700 for the development of: RM – Environmental Report; RIM – Environmental Impact Report; EA – Appropriate Assessment Study. In addition, ICB-CJ has extensive experience in the development of biodiversity monitoring studies (flora, fauna, vegetation and habitats)
The objectives pursued:
(i) Preparation of technical and scientific documentation in the field of environmental protection and biodiversity
in order to authorize new activities, projects, plans of various economic agents
(ii) transfer of skills/competences in research and development and innovation support, including
contractual research and secondment of specialized personnel at the request of partner enterprises
by ICB-CJ;
(iii) implementation of collaborative research and development projects
Offer description
ICB-CJ has experience in the field of developing specialized environmental studies and assessments regarding biodiversity conservation (flora and fauna). Thus, ICB-CJ annually develops approximately 250 assessment studies in order to authorize economic agents to harvest products from spontaneous flora/fauna. We also have extensive experience in developing management plans for protected areas, respectively biodiversity studies for mapping/perimeterization of protected areas.
Innovative aspects of the offer
Increasing the degree of innovation and economic efficiency of the partner companies by developing and implementing innovative technological solutions for assessing and monitoring biodiversity using high-resolution remote sensing techniques (LIDAR, high-resolution satellite images). The use of remote sensing techniques aims at highly accurate assessment of the production (harvest, biomass) of semi-natural and/or agricultural ecosystems. These techniques are also used for assessing/monitoring biodiversity, as well as potentially invasive species.
