Our colleague, Dr. Vlad Alexandru Toma – 15.09.2022 – He won, following a national competition, a postdoctoral research fellowship in the biomedical field “Maya and Nicolae Simionescu”, with the title: “In search of a strategy based on the Fenton-Haber Weiss reaction to re-educate melanoma-associated fibroblasts using in vitro 3D models“, worth 10,000 Euros, awarded by the Romanian Society of Cell Biology and the Institute of Cell Biology and Pathology “Nicolae Simionescu”, with the support of Academician Maya Simionescu, from Bucharest. This fellowship is awarded annually through competition, starting in 2022 and is awarded to finance a research project carried out for 12 months. The application is in the field of biomedical sciences – “Fundamental and applied biomedical research for the benefit of human health”.
