Starting on April 7, 2020, our colleague Dr. Bogdan Drugă is involved, as a volunteer, in diagnosing COVID-19 using the Real-Time PCR technique. His activity is carried out at the “Prof. Dr. Ion Chiricuţă” Oncology Institute in Cluj-Napoca and will continue for as long as necessary during the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Our colleague, Dr. Edina Szekeres, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Cristina Mircea, have voluntarily accepted to get involved, on behalf of the UBB team, as specialized personnel in the molecular diagnosis of COVID-19, in the effort made by UBB Cluj-Napoca to support the diagnostic teams of the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection.
